who we

support

local chaplaincy: youth care

Narrogin has two public primary schools, a regional high school, and an agricultural college.  The primary schools have chaplains available at least some days each week. There are also school chaplains in the surrounding towns.

NCC has a long history of involvement with chaplaincy and it’s umbrella organisation YouthCare. We provide money to support the Breakfast Club in the two local primary schools, and work in collaboration with the other local Christian Churches to raise funds for YouthCare.

Robbie and her husband Jeff (now deceased) founded HOPE College, a live-in leadership, mentoring, training and church planting centre raising up the next generation of leaders in Mozambique. They have seen over 50 churches planted with countless lives and communities impacted by the Gospel.

open doors

It is a little known fact that Christians are the most persecuted group of people in the world today and antagonism toward the gospel is growing. Many risk death, violence and/or imprisonment to follow Jesus. Open Doors is a non-denominational group whose mission is to support persecuted Christians throughout the world. They work with local partners to distribute Bibles and Christian literature, give discipleship training and provide practical support, such as emergency relief aid. They also keep the free church aware and up to date about the situations being faced by Christians living under persecution so that we can pray effectively for them.

DESTINY RESCUE

According to Interpol, "Human trafficking is a multi-billion-dollar form of international organised crime, constituting modern-day slavery." It is especially heinous to those with children and grandchildren that huge numbers of children are trafficked annually, most into the sex industry. Destiny Rescue is an Australian based, Christian organisation that works tirelessly with local law enforcement agencies to seek out, rescue and restore these children while also uncovering and bringing to justice those who participate in, and perpetuate this evil 'industry'. We are thrilled to support this effort.
